The NRMA Phillip Island project was initiated to enhance the existing holiday park with a dedicated glamping area. GlamXperience collaborated with NRMA to develop a unique glamping experience tailored for both glampers and traditional campers. The project aimed to create a separate glamping section within the park, offering a distinct and luxurious experience for guests seeking a closer connection to nature without compromising on comfort.
The approach
GlamXperience’s approach for the NRMA Phillip Island project focused on innovation and customisation. Understanding the need to create a memorable and unique guest experience, the team worked closely with NRMA to develop designs that complemented the natural beauty of Phillip Island and maximized the prime beachfront location. We introduced a new interior package, “The Beach Look,” so guests will feel more connected to the location and its natural balance. Additionally, we were allowed a larger budget for the styling package, which enabled us to add small items like plants, baskets, and candle holders. These small details make all the difference in bookings.
The results
The NRMA Phillip Island glamping area has been highly successful, achieving impressive occupancy rates and positive guest feedback. The addition of the glamping section has significantly enhanced the park’s appeal, attracting a new demographic of visitors looking for a luxurious outdoor experience. The investment in high-quality glamping accommodations has also proven financially beneficial, offering a high return on investment and boosting overall revenue for the park. NRMA’s decision to incorporate glamping has not only diversified their accommodation options but also elevated the overall guest experience at Phillip Island.
