BIG4 St Helens
About
The BIG4 St Helens project, also known as Glamping 148, was undertaken to add a unique and luxurious glamping section to the existing holiday park. Located in a picturesque part of Tasmania, the project aimed to provide guests with a high-end outdoor accommodation experience that blends comfort with nature.
The approach
The BIG4 St Helens project, known as Glamping 148 Tasmania, was developed in two phases to establish a dedicated glamping area adjacent to the existing caravan park. By capitalising on the zoning already designated for caravan use, this initiative seamlessly expanded the park’s offerings. The addition of luxury glamping accommodations not only diversifies the park’s appeal but also enhances its capacity to generate additional revenue.
The results
The new accommodations have significantly increased visitor numbers and garnered excellent reviews for their unique blend of luxury and natural beauty. Financially, the glamping units have provided a robust return on investment, enhancing the overall profitability of the park. This successful integration of glamping has solidified BIG4 St Helens’ reputation as a top-tier destination in Tasmania, earning recognition and praise from both guests and industry experts.
