Inverloch Glamping
Product: Geodesic Dome
The approach
Vanessa, the owner of a boutique-style glamping retreat in Inverloch, was focused on delivering a flawless guest experience for premium travellers. However, maintaining bell tents to meet luxury standards was proving unsustainable:
• High maintenance, low durability: Constant upkeep was required to prevent mould—raising costs and impacting reviews and guest health.
• Safety concerns during storms: Vanessa often worried about guest safety due to the poor wind resistance and structural integrity of the bell tents.
• Seasonal limitations: Inverloch’s cooler climate made it hard to maintain consistent bookings outside peak summer months.
The solution
With existing decks already in place, we replaced the bell tents with our 6-metre Geodesic Domes, maintaining the same footprint for minimal site disruption. We added commercial-grade vinyl flooring to seal gaps in the deck and ensured a seamless upgrade.
• Stronger, safer, smarter: Lockable aluminium-framed glass doors and a reinforced steel structure provide guests with a sense of comfort and security—even in rough weather.
• All-season appeal: Thanks to high-quality insulation, Vanessa now attracts winter bookings, offering cosy stays even in colder months.
• Premium-ready: With luxury amenities already on-site, no extra fit-out was needed—just a superior structure to match the experience.
The results
Switching to Domes has delivered outstanding outcomes for Vanessa’s retreat:
• Increased winter bookings: Promoted as part of a new “winter glamping” trend alongside wood-fired wine barrel hot tubs and a planned sauna.
• High guest satisfaction: Stellar reviews on Riparide and Green Getaways (build in links to these websites) help drive visibility and trust.
• Peace of mind: Vanessa no longer worries about safety or mould—her focus is back on delivering unforgettable experiences.
