Park Lane Holiday Park

Grant from Park Lane Holiday Park wanted to replace his existing Lotus Bell Tents with a safer, more durable alternative. The original Lotus tents were positioned under trees, creating a safety risk during storms as falling branches could pose a serious hazard. The Lotus tents lacked a steel frame, and while our premium bell tent fabric is superior, safety remained a concern. Grant was also looking to reduce ongoing maintenance and provide a more reliable structure for guests year-round.

To improve safety and maintenance, we created a new glamping area and replaced five Lotus tents with five 5-metre Domes. These domes are much stronger in storms thanks to their steel frames and geodesic shape. We redesigned the layout for small families by adding a pull-out sofa bed. Styling was completed with pieces from the Pony Rider collection.

We also installed three new 8-metre Domes. Australia’s first with a circular mezzanine above the bathroom. This eye-catching design adds two extra beds and makes better use of the space, pushing the boundaries of luxury glamping.

Inspired by the Yarra Valley’s bushland, we used a soft olive green limewash on the walls and custom chestnut timber furniture throughout. The domes feature handcrafted Amuma Living pieces and Pony Rider textiles, creating a cosy, earthy retreat that blends beautifully with nature.

With this project, Park Lane Holiday Park has elevated its glamping offering to a new level. The new domes provide greater safety, lower maintenance, and a high-end guest experience that’s visually stunning and practically designed. The feedback has been excellent, and the combination of thoughtful interior styling and architectural innovation has set a new benchmark for glamping in the region.
