Currajong Retreat is a luxury glamping park located on a picturesque farm, offering breathtaking views from high on a cliff overlooking a river and valley. The retreat features three spacious safari tents designed for couples, each equipped with queen beds, intimate lounge and dining areas, fully equipped kitchenettes, and private ensuites with waterfall showers. Guests enjoy a premium, all-inclusive experience at $795 per night, which includes meals. The retreat combines the comforts of luxury accommodation with the beauty of nature, providing an ideal escape for those seeking relaxation and a connection with the outdoors.
The approach
GlamXperience approached the Currajong project with a comprehensive solution, starting from the initial consultation to understand the client’s vision and requirements. The design and customisation phase involved tailoring the safari tents to fit the unique landscape and aesthetic preferences of the site. For the installation, the eco-friendly Mega Anchor system was employed, ensuring stable and durable tent foundations without the need for concrete. This method not only provided a robust structure but also minimised the environmental impact, aligning with the sustainable ethos of the retreat.
The results
The Currajong Retreat has been an immense success, achieving high occupancy rates and premium nightly rates of $795, including food. The success has been so substantial that Jane and Grant are planning to add another three tents and a restaurant tent to their retreat. The project not only provided a luxurious glamping experience but also showcased the best of farm life to city dwellers, blending comfort with nature effortlessly.
