Australia’s very first Mega Dome with a mezzanine has just opened at Park Lane Yarra Valley. After months of design and engineering, this dome is finally a reality. More than just accommodation, it marks a new chapter in Glamping innovation across Australia.
The WOW Factor
Mezzanine & Stairs
We wanted this dome to feel different from anything else. Instead of the usual square deck, we created a circular steel frame for an infinity-style effect. Complete with panoramic windows that open the dome up to the outdoors. Perfect for stargazing at night.
Inside, the bathroom is framed in light steel with a mezzanine placed above. The polycarbonate balustrades give a light, open feeling, and the wide staircase makes life easier for housekeeping. Upstairs, two single beds create a fun and adventurous hideaway that kids will love.
Interior Design
By Amuma Living
For the interiors, we worked with our sister brand Amuma Living. Olive green tones combined with warm oak connect the space to the Yarra Valley landscape. The kitchen is built in dark oak, and a dining nook with a bench and chairs adds a homely touch. Our rollable bedside tables make it easy for guests to enjoy breakfast in bed with a view.
The bathroom includes deep green walls, a change from the usual greys and whites, and a Wi-Fi connected mirror so guests can listen to music while they shower.
