Melbourne’s St. Jerome’s – The Hotel has added to its rooftop camping accommodation with new six-metre bell tents, complete with all the luxury trimmings. St. Jerome’s – The Hotel opened in 2015 offering luxury camping accommodation on top of the Melbourne Central shopping centre. The hotel features 21 canvas tents, each fitted out with a queen bed, premium linen, split system heating and cooling, a tablet loaded with movies, and an esky stocked with beer and cider. After a year of preparation we were finally ready to take off on our big journey. We sold our family home, packed our furniture and organized a farewell party at our favourite local pub. On our final day in The Netherlands the local TV station interviewed us and our business partner Luxe Tenten about our immigration to Australia, which makes a great keepsake for our friends and family to look back on in the future.
